EVENT PHOTOS
Our guys are back from the National
Museum Of The Marine Corps in Quantico VA. We flew our UH-34 into the museum
parking lot and was on static display during our
USMC Combat Helicopter Association reunion held in Washington DC August 14-17.
Many of the visitors that visited YN-19 actually flew and worked on her during
the 6 years (1963-69) in Vietnam.
Below are photos from the air shows or special events we have attended.

The

Of The Marine Corps located in Quantico VA. The display was for our
Vietnam reunion that was held in Washington DC. Many of the 1400
visitors were Marines who either worked or flew on YN-19 during her 6
years (1963-69) in Vietnam. We flew the chopper in at 0:800 Aug. 14 and
departed at 0:800 Aug. 17, 2008. The following pictures are of our
approach to land and our departure. |

The air show was
Fantastic! our UH-34D performed a pilot down rescue hoisting two downed pilots to
safety. Flying with us in the show were three O2A's observation aircraft, these
aircraft were used
during the Vietnam War. Also flying with us was a F58 and a Russian Mig.
15 B25's were there
at the show and they all flew in two formations. What a wonderful sight to see
these Warbirds all flying at the same time. |

2007 MCAS Cherry Point |
Our flight was a long 5.4 hours to
arrive and a SUPER LONG 9.5 hours to get home due to 40 knot head winds.
The show had many beautiful aircraft both as static and flying in the show.
The air show was Fantastic! we
performed a Vietnam medevac reenactment of a wounded marine. We had some
volunteer Marines from Camp LeJeuene NC that assisted us with the reenactment.
We had fun doing the performance and everyone watching enjoyed it very much. We
got nothing but positive compliments for our reenactment. |

On May 26, 27, 28 YN-19 was on
